Summary
The South African Development Community has officially condemned terrorism in all its forms, and makes broad efforts to fight and prevent acts of terrorism. As laid out in its 2002 Declaration on Terrorism, the SADC works to incorporate international counterterrorism instruments into domestic law, promote international cooperation and strengthening of domestic capacity, and fight terrorism generally using any means available.
Members
The members of the SADC are Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
