Ana Leticia Magini

Ana Leticia Magini, HLS PILAC Research Assistant

Ana Leticia Magini is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Cambridge currently undertaking an exchange program at Harvard Law School. As a Research Assistant at the HLS Program on International Law and Armed Conflict (HLS PILAC), she contributes to a research initiative on the protection of the environment in relation to international peace and security.

Ana has an LL.M. degree in international law from the University of Cambridge and a law degree from the University of London. Before starting her Ph.D., Ana worked for two years at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, serving as a legal officer in a trial concerning alleged crimes against humanity.

Ana has taught LL.M. workshops in international criminal law at the University of Cambridge and was a lecturer at the University of Tallinn in international humanitarian law and cyber warfare. She also served as Executive Director of the Cambridge Pro Bono Project (CPP) and general editor of the Cambridge International Law Journal in 2020. Before that, as a CPP project manager, Ana coordinated a team of researchers to produce a report commissioned by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
