The Stockton Center for the Study of International Law at the Naval War College will host the next iteration of its seminar series on January 22nd. Mr. Dustin Lewis of the Harvard Law School Program for International Law and Armed Conflict (PILAC) will present on the Program’s recently completed research projects entitled “Medical Care in Armed Conflict: International Humanitarian Law and State Responses to Terrorism.” This project analyzes the extent to which contemporary counterterrorism policies contradict and potentially erode certain IHL protections regarding the protection of medical care for all wounded combatants, friend or foe.
