William Yuen Yee is a second-year J.D. student at Harvard Law School and has been a Research Assistant for the HLS Program on International Law and Armed Conflict (HLS PILAC) since September 2025. William is currently contributing to research exploring how mediation shapes international humanitarian law in armed conflicts. 

William is a deputy executive editor on the Harvard National Security Journal and an article editor for the Harvard International Law Journal. He also serves as a Sponsorship Chair for the Harvard Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and a resident advisor in Ames Hall. During the summer of 2025, William interned for the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps. William graduated from Columbia University in 2022 with a B.A. summa cum laude in Political Science and East Asian Studies. He received his M.A. cum laude in International Governance and Diplomacy as a Michel-David Weill Scholar from Sciences Po in 2024.
