In collaboration with the Missions of Belgium, Norway, and Switzerland, the Harvard Law School Program on International Law and Armed Conflict (PILAC) will undertake, during the first half of 2016, a series of four working lunches on themes and topics in international humanitarian law (IHL) and protection of civilians (PoC), based primarily on PILAC’s ongoing research.
The purpose is to provide opportunities for mission legal advisers, PoC experts, and other interested colleagues to discuss cutting-edge research and analysis on IHL and PoC themes and topics. PILAC is a Harvard Law School research program exploring critical challenges through the lens of international law related to armed conflict. PILAC has extensive experience providing high-level briefings for government and UN officials.
