Summary

The Ad-Hoc Working Group on the Terrorist Threat to the Euro-Atlantic Area is an entity within the NATO-Russia Council (NRC). The primary goal of Ad-Hoc Working Group is to enhance and facilitate cooperation in the fight against terrorism. The Ad-Hoc Working Group works to facilitate cooperation among Russia and NATO member states in regard to counterterrorism activities, including sharing information and experiences, as well as developing new strategies and technologies for implementation.
