Summary

The Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) is a multilateral political and economic initiative that strives to foster interaction and harmony among the Member States, as well as to ensure peace, stability and prosperity in the Black Sea region. BSEC member states have agreed to cooperate in the prevention, detection, suppression and investigation of acts of terrorism. To collaborate in the prevention and investigation of terrorism, BSEC member states exchange information on counterterrorism intelligence, both attacks and their financing and material support. BSEC conducts joint trainings, seminars, consultations and scientific research and exchanges internal legislation and analytical and statistical data.

Members

Members of the BSEC include Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
