PILAC invites applications from Harvard Law School students to become a Research Assistant, for the fall 2015 semester, on the Counterterrorism and Humanitarian Engagement Project. The CHE Project develops high-level independent analysis of key legal and policy dilemmas at the intersection of counterterrorism policies and humanitarian action. (See the Project website for more information: < http://pilac.law.harvard.edu/counterterrorism-and-humanitarian-engagement-project >.) Under the supervision of PILAC Director Naz Modirzadeh, the RA will research and draft analyses of current affairs for distribution to the CHE Project Senior Law and Policy Working Group. Other potential research opportunities may emerge. This position is remunerated.

Applications from students with experience writing succinctly, accurately, and persuasively under tight deadlines strongly preferred. Interested HLS students should, as soon as possible, submit a cover e-mail to pilac@law.harvard.edu, along with a writing sample and an up-to-date resume/c.v.
