Abhishek Banerjee-Shukla is a third-year J.D. student at Harvard Law School from London, United Kingdom. Abhishek is interested in the question of how victory could be defined in the contexts of contemporary armed conflicts, and how these conflicts could be said to have ended. He is working at PILAC in the Goals of War and War’s End team, which focuses on these questions.
Abhishek spent his first summer of law school working for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in its Consumer Protection Bureau. Last summer, he was at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City, working for six weeks with an M&A partner on deals, and for six weeks with a litigation partner who is defending a major bank. He will return to the firm in New York as an associate in 2016 after clerking in Austin, Texas. Prior to law school, Abhishek worked in management consulting in London, and earned undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge, UK.
