Chris Mirasola, PILAC Research Assistant, 2015–2016

Chris Mirasola is a third-year JD/MPP student at HLS and the Kennedy School of Government. He has interned at the U.S. Naval War College’s China Maritime Studies Institute and the U.S. Department of Defense Office of General Counsel. Chris’s research focuses on the nexus of public international law and policy in the U.S.-China relationship.

At PILAC, Chris provides research assistance for the Manual on International Law Applicable to Military Uses of Space. In that capacity, Chris conducts research concerning jus in bello principles applicable to outer space. Previously, he served as a research assistant for Professor Michael N. Schmitt, a PILAC Fellow.
