Luca Geary is a special student at the Harvard Griffin School of Arts and Sciences. He studied Law at the University of Oxford, graduating with a BA (First Class) in 2024 and BCL (Distinction) in 2025. At Harvard, his research concentrates on the relationship between the jus ad bellum and the jus in bello, as well as the application of armed conflict obligations in practice. Luca also serves as a coach for Harvard Law School’s 2025-6 Jessup International Law Moot team.
Luca gained experience in public international law through participating in the Jessup and Nelson Mandela Moots, as well as working as a research assistant for Professor Milanovic and Jason Pobjoy KC at Blackstone Chambers. He intends to return to the United Kingdom to practice as a barrister, specializing in public international law.
