Paras Shah, HLS PILAC Research Assistant as of Fall 2018

Paras Shah is a third-year J.D. student at Harvard Law School and, as of fall 2018, a Research Assistant for the HLS Program on International Law and Armed Conflict (HLS PILAC). Paras is also involved with the Harvard Human Rights Journal and is an advanced student in the Harvard Law School International Human Rights Clinic. 

Paras spent his first summer of law school working on disability rights at the State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, and his second summer at O’Melveny & Myers. Prior to law school, Paras was the John Gardner Fellow at Human Rights Watch in New York. Paras studied History and Political Science at U.C. Berkeley.
