Sasha Pippenger, PILAC Research Assistant beginning fall 2014

In the fall of 2014, Sasha Pippenger became a research assistant at PILAC, focusing on the Goals of War and War’s End Project. Sasha holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a Certificat de Droit Transnational from the University of Geneva, and a B.A. in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, she works at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD Centre) as an Adviser on Process Design. 

Sasha has worked with the United Nations on post-conflict political processes and constitutional design, including in Sana'a with Yemen's National Dialogue process and in Kathmandu with Nepal's Constitutional Assembly. She previously worked as a humanitarian policy officer in Pakistan and the Middle East, as an election monitor and researcher in Sudan, and as a member of the teaching teams for the Harvard Negotiation Institute and Harvard Law School's negotiation and mediation courses.
