Yi Seul Kim, PILAC Research Assistant, Fall 2014–Spring 2015

Yi Seul Kim is an LL.M. candidate at Harvard Law School. She began as a Research Assistant at the HLS Program on International Law and Armed Conflict in the fall of 2014. At PILAC, Kim conducts research on extraterritorial lethal-force operations, covering areas in East Asia and the Middle East. She has also researched sources of international law pertaining to those operations.

Kim has previously worked at the United Nations Register of Damage Caused by the Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, dealing with admission of mass claims and reviewing evidentiary documents. She has a strong interest in public international law and dispute resolution. She received her undergraduate B.A. in International Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, as well as a Juris Doctor in American Law and a Juris Master in Chinese Law at Peking University School of Transnational Law.
